# 5.5.10. Ending a Savings Group

A savings group will automatically terminate after all its participants have received the savings payment, that is, after the last participant has received the savings payment. 

With the termination of the savings group, users who have received the savings payment and deposited collateral in the previous periods will be able to access their collateral. 

With the termination of the Savings group, participation NFTs will carry a commmerotive value and lose their ability to express rights and obligations regarding the relevant savings group.
